WHY I LOVE CITY HUNTER

Two weeks ago, a friend introduced me to a new Korean TV series entitled City Hunter. This was regularly shown in ABS-CBN but I was not able to watch it from there. So, since I am on a holiday last Friday, I choose to watch the show in my SU (the name of my laptop) until I am addicted with the story that I was able to finish watching the 20 episodes until Saturday afternoon.

This is not my first time watching some TV series but since I do not have a relevant topic for my blog aside from my emo-ness, I just want to share it here. City Hunter’s genre is a combination of action and romance. I am not going to write the plot here since it can be found in the Wikipedia but I will put here what I admire in the TV series.

I like the battle between City Hunter, Lee Yoon-sung and an intelligent prosecutor Kim-Young-joo. While City Hunter is taking revenge for the death of what he thought as his father, the prosecutor is trying to catch him. And when the prosecutor found out who the city hunter is, they became allies as they realize that both of them have a common goal.

On romance side, I also want the love story between the City Hunter and Kim Na-na. City Hunter doesn’t want to involve Kim Na-na because of the risk in his mission, so he tried to protect Kim Na-na by not showing his true feelings. While Kim Na-na is waiting for Lee Yoon-sung until he finished his mission alive, she helps the City hunter on her own way.

Lastly, the most wonderful part is the opportunity of watching the beautiful face of the actor Lee Min-Ho. For me, he is the most handsome Korean guy. Obviously, I have a crush on him and maybe he is the reason why I love watching City Hunter. LOL! Thanks to my friend who has given me a copy of this series, at least I would be able to watch Lee Min-ho whenever I want to see his beautiful face again. LOL Again. 


And just a thought, will this blog post make me a certified City Hunter addict or just a Lee Min-Ho fanatic?
